Md Harris has more than 25 years of cumulative experience with a managerial role in corporate finance,  investment banking, debt restructuring, corporate banking and development finance as well as offshore banking in various onshore and offshore financial institutions such as Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, Affin Investment Bank Berhad, Mizuho Corporate Bank (Labuan Branch), Malayan Banking Berhad and Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Export – Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad and lastly at Kanbawza Bank Limited, Myanmar where his last role was as Senior Specialist, Structured Finance, Wholesale Banking. 

Md Harris is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA – UK) and is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). He joined Pembangunan Ekuiti on the 1st July 2022 as a Non-Executive Director.
