As an entrepreneur, he founded several companies and start-up programs since early 2002.His knowledge in Business and Risk Management helped companies to minimize their Business and Investment Risk.
He has founded and invested into companies involved in various industries spanning from Medical, Construction, Movie production, Travel and Oil Trading. After spending some valuable time understanding Business Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) Insurance for the local and international market, he worked and managed multimillion-dollar companies and start-ups.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Business with vast experience in Government Relations pursuing and nurturing relationships with governments, associated authorities for the sake of improvement and development of financial and future financial technology.

Md Harris brings over 25 years of cumulative experience in corporate finance and banking, with a strong track record in managerial roles across investment banking, debt restructuring, corporate and development finance, as well as offshore banking.
Throughout his career, he has served in various onshore and offshore financial institutions, including Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad, Pengurusan Danaharta Nasional Berhad, Affin Investment Bank Berhad, Mizuho Corporate Bank (Labuan Branch), Malayan Banking Berhad, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad, Export-Import Bank of Malaysia Berhad, MIDF Amanah Investment Bank Berhad, Standard Chartered Bank Malaysia Berhad, and Kanbawza Bank Limited in Myanmar. His most recent role was Senior Specialist, Structured Finance, Wholesale Banking at Kanbawza Bank Limited.
Md Harris is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom, and a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Pembangunan Ekuiti on 1 July 2022.
